AMPY Electric LLC (“AMPY Electric,” “we,” “us”) operates ampyelectric.com. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Quote requests. When you request a quote, we collect your name, email address, phone number, project city or ZIP code, the service and timing you choose, and the project details you write. We also record the date and the page you submitted from.
- Spam prevention. To limit repeated submissions, we briefly use a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address. It is kept for about an hour and is not saved with your request.
- No tracking. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and this website does not set cookies for visitors. Site administrators who log in receive standard WordPress login cookies.
How we use your information
We use the information you send to review your request, contact you about your project, provide quotes and services, and keep records of customer inquiries and work. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
How information is stored and shared
Quote requests are saved in our website’s private admin area and may also be emailed to our business inbox. We rely on service providers, such as our web host and email providers, to run this website and deliver email. They handle your information only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information when required by law.
Embedded video and outside links
Our homepage features a YouTube video. Its preview image is loaded from YouTube’s servers, and the video player loads only if you press play, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. Once you play the video, YouTube (Google) may collect information under its own privacy policy. Our links to Facebook and the Better Business Bureau take you to sites with their own privacy policies.
How long we keep information
We keep quote requests for as long as we need them to respond to you and maintain our business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, unless we need to keep it for legal or record-keeping reasons.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information you sent us by contacting us using the details below.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
